Mary Gene Clavin

Mary Gene Clavin is a fundraising and executive search consultant who focuses on accelerating strategic outcomes for the nonprofit industry. With nearly two decades of experience as an advancement professional, search consultant, coach and nonprofit board member, Mary Gene brings a unique perspective to her work. She understands the obstacles and organizational dynamics facing non-profit leaders and believes that successful fundraising outcomes rely on motivated, committed and effective team members at multiple levels. Her background includes a strong history of influencing department aptitude and developing team members that are agile, resilient and positioned to thrive in all environments.

Mary Gene earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston College. She is a member of the International Coach Federation and is certified as an executive and leadership development coach by The Academies. Mary Gene serves on several nonprofit boards and is a member of the Council for Women of Boston College.

HILARY SHEPARD

Hilary Shepard has nearly two decades of extensive annual giving, campaign, and fundraising communications and operations expertise. Hilary’s early career includes tenure at the Radcliffe Institute at Harvard University, Boston University and Morgan Memorial Goodwill where she focused on leadership and annual giving and development communications. While serving as a Consultant with Development Guild, her successes include guiding clients through fundraising campaigns ranging from $10M-$100M.
